V&A, Inc. is designed 20 at-grade intersections and approximately six miles of roadways for the Expo 2 Light Rail Project, which connects Culver City and Santa Monica by transit rail.
Its three segments and six sub-segments, V&A, Inc. designed the roadway elements for portions of Segment 1A (National-Palms Blvd Intersection), Segment 1B (Overland Avenue), Segment 2A (Sepulveda-Exposition Blvd Intersection), and Segment 2C (Barrington Ave-Exposition Blvd Intersection), which entailed pavement and curb and gutter replacements, ADA curb ramps, curb and gutter profiles, pavement elevation intersections, pavement quarter-line profiles, traction power substation site grading, track alignment, and electrical lighting plans.
The design packages were divided into 60%, 85%, 100% and AFC submittals.
