The Exposition Light Rail Transit Design-Build Project is an 8.6-mile extension of the Metro Blue Line from Downtown Los Angeles to Culver City. The project features dual-track configuration in the center of selected streets and high center platform stations, with improvements for at-grade intersections. V&A, Inc.
Served as the sub-consulting civil engineering lead for Segments A, B, and C, responsible for roadway design and interaction between the project team and LADOT, LABOE, LABSL, LADWP, Culver City, and Caltrans. V&A, Inc.’s focused coordination of traffic control designs advanced the drawings from 60% to AFC so that documentation was delivered on schedule and timely approvals were obtained from LADOT, LABSS, and the Expo Authority.
